Program simillar to Autodesk Image Modeler 2009

Is there a program similar to AIM 2009 when it comes to placing locators and markers for things such as vehicles, aircraft, boats, buildings and hard-surface or hybrid objects in general? I'm talking here about creating coordinate system based on markers set up in multiple or one picture.
It would be also nice if the program has support for Blender and that the program is updated regularly.
