Hello everyone! I am excited to show you guys my final project for the environment for games course at Gnomon taught by Nate Stephens from Sony Santa Monica. He is an awesome mentor and I learnt so much from the class. My final is a wine cellar type of environment inspired by Evgeniy(artstation). The scene was mocked up in Maya and assembled in Unreal. I go through the process I building a base model then further detail on it in zbrush. Using as much optimization as possible such as reusing parts, mirror geo, packed maps..etc. The scene looks good to me and it runs with no problem on lower end machine so I think the effort paid off. Base materials were made in substance designer and reused in substance painter to achieve a unique look. I had so much fun with this project, and I hope you guys like it as well!
