Hey guys I'm coming to the end of this project and thought I'd post my WIP renders on here and see if I could get any crit/advice before I call it a day. I'm still yet to properly texture the MNML/equilibrium version and the stock version might need some tweaks but i've been looking at it too long. All the renders are a first pass of what kinda thing I want to do.
So if anyone has anything to say i'd love to hear it!
After making some Damascus steel designer materials I decided to play around with this as an idea, not sure where to take it next if i'm honest.
I love gun pieces that do each individual part whole. Wouldn't necessarily use that for a game piece, but for a render it's a very appreciated touch! Textures came out nice too from what I can see. Would love to see this in real time using Toolbag to see the material definition. Keep up the good work.
cheers guys! and yea this is well beyond requirements for a game but its personal work. Also it started as just a study sooo accuracy and excessive detail was the goal
