Collection of assets i produced for the heavy gear assault indie game. I was tasked with most of the mechanical and prop designs, in the later stages i cut the 2d component out of my process completely and started concepting/producing directly in 3d.

@Ged 3ds max for modelling/prototyping. for the weapons i paint up side profile concepts, then slap the image on a plane in max, and cut/extrude into shape, so it ends up as a model with a mock ao map effectively, which works surprising well as an ingame stand in.
Ah that explains it, youve done some incredible modelling work on those tools/weapons! I loved the original heavy gear series of games and tv program haha, is this an official game under that ip then?
