Male Head Study, Base mesh - - Critique Needed

Hi,
I'm practicing the sculpt of a Male Head, but I'm having a hard time finding the basic forms of the mesh.

I'm stuck at a stage where I don't know if I'm improving the forms or worsen it.
So I guess it's best to ask the professionals
What's is wrong? What's missing? What to do next? Paint over?

The neck muscles look pretty tense and he's missing an adam's apple, other than that looks great

There are a couple of planes that could use one more look.

This quick and dirty paintover isn't meant as a guide, but as a marker for areas that you maybe should look up in your reference and check them again.

Another question.
About the back of the head, is it close to the real form?
I got some reference of bald actors (Vin Diesel, The Rock) but I can't really understand its form.
