Hi guys,
I was scrolling through art station, and i stumbled upon Jeremy Fenske's (
https://www.artstation.com/artist/jandrew) epic desert concept.
So i wanted to create an environment that captures the feeling of this piece of art.
I also didn't want to create just a single shot Environment, i want to make a 360 scene with the concept as centerpiece.
UPDATE:
So i didn't really update the thread mainly because i lacked the time, but i didn't sit still!
I finally finished it and i would love to hear you guy's feedback. check out a flythrough at:

Current shot:
after a slight struggle learning marvelous, i managed to get a quite nice result.
i also made some modular broken engines, enspired by the Jakku map from starwars battlefront
also made some dust particles to give the scene more mood.
next up, i'm going to fix some shadow artifacts on de tent by "shelling" it in 3ds max. also i'm going to create some dunes in world machine and place them in there. maybe i'll creata another sand material to have more variation.
