Looks good, I like the material. I actually did one of these myself (portfolio in signature).
There's a couple issues with your model: - The hammer wouldn't be able to cock back over that sharp corner it connects to. - No bullet pins, this ring uses special bullets with firing pins sticking out the side. - The hammer doesn't make contact with where the bullet pins would be. - The piece with (055) on it should form a wall around the base of the cylinder, protecting the pins from contact, exposing them only to the hammer. - The trigger has no room to move. - The 'latch' on the side of the ring works by locking into the little pits on the cylinder, so it needs to make contact with the cylinder. - It also scrapes along the side when you rotate the cylinder, so show some damage there. - The engravings are all one height value, should be deeper in the center of the lines.
I think with these changes and your stellar material work, you'll have an awesome piece on your hands. Keep at it!
