Very exciting announcement, though I think its a good 3-4 yrs away. At first, I was completely against the idea of a sequel but if Neil Druckmann thinks he's got something special, I trust him.

I love that they are making a sequel. I've watch this trailer 5 times now. Amazing detail, and animation. I wish they could at least tease a year.... I wouldn't expect a date yet though

Man I love this, I am not a guitar player but I was told that in the guitar scene, she is hitting the strings correctly and the correct strings at that. Lots of attention to detail and beautiful work!

Oh man, I was so flabbergasted the first two days, that I couldn't think anything else but this. I'm still amazed though. Phew, what a piece of news from Naughty Dog. This also gave me super boost for my own big TLoU fan project.

On my fourth replay of Last of Us. I saw this the other day and its a beautiful trailer. tho - I am kinda over the whole zombie genre, but that might be cos I've played the last game to death.

you want to know the thing that annoyed me most about the trailer?

Thunder and lightning at the same time. It's something i always see in games/game trailers, it really bothers me.

You know what I watched the trailer last night and while there is some quite nice facial rigging and animation going on, and imo the trailer is largely sold on the lighting and grading .... you know what just no. I'm out. I'm not okay with that. I didn't like the SAW movies either and this just isn't for me.

same here. there's enough dystopian stuff going on in my newsfeed these days that i don't feel the need to consume more of that as entertainment. same for my choice of movies.

it's looking well made though - unfortunately as always the youtube compression kills some interesting details on those characters.

I'm really excited about this. I love the first game so much. I cant wait to meet new characters, see what Ellie and Joel are up to and find out why there is so much hatred.

Wow impressive visuals, I wonder if the game will have a similar fidelity. I didnt get through the whole of the first game because I just didnt enjoy the tone or subject much, too sad and depressing and dystopian for me so I doubt I would play this one. I still hope it does well for the team that make it though.
