I recently created this creature for a project I'm working on. It's called the uncanny, I was trying to capitalize on the idea of the uncanny valley by making the creature seem unsettling.
I played around with a few parts of the character as I haven't completed a full character before. If anyone one has tips for Hair or eye creation I'd be happy to hear them. (Especially hair in the modeling stage).

There's a lot of anatomy errors in this but you asked specifically about the eyes, the eyelid has no reason to go beyond the upper part of the iris, it's function is to lubricate and protect the eye from the sun. So something more like this would probably make more sense, but this guy needs major plastic surgery all over. He sort of looks like a Gollum creature, maybe you could have a closer look at him.

Thanks for the feed back.
The eyes certainly look more natural with the eyelids further down. I appreciate the link for the hair tutorial I'll definitely put it to use in my next character build.
There are a number of anatomical errors some purposely and others certainly by mistake. I tried exaggerating and making some of the body disproportionate. Such as longer arms and fingers, a larger head and facial features, and a sruken torso. But I know regaurdless of my intent doesn't mean they were affective.
