Hi !
so, I wanted to learn traditional art to strengthen my digital skills so I decided to take a shot at painting and see what I could produce. I never really touched a real paintbrush before that, so I'm pretty happy about the outcome.

The idea was to take the gashadokuro yokai print and reproduce it with a western art style

there is some issues I'll be the first to admit it and I did REALLY missed the ctrl+z, but it looks better than I thought I could do with real tools (gouache and pastel pens for layout)
I'll probably go back and add a few additional details when I have time
the painting is made on Demi-raisin (a french format of paper, 32.5cm x 50 cm)

to be fair, at the beginning I felt a bit overwhelmed and I was sure it would look like garbage, but now that I took a step back, I actually like how it turned out. the fold next to the pinky will need to be redone though...
If you want, I took photos of all the process I went through. I sort of improvised it so maybe you guys know a more efficient way to go about it ?
(my camera dull down the colors sorry)
It took some time, I was really busy lately ^^
