Hey, thought I'd start up a sketchbook while I'm developing 3D assets for my video game.
Here's a sculpt of the Greek Goddess Athena WIP, who is going to be a character in my game. I'm not that great at high detail - but since it's a video game chara I shouldn't have to get much more detailed than this right?
Still have to do her armour and clothes. I'm worried about doing flowing fabric. Any tips or tuts I should know for it?

I've made a very basic UI for now -- will be refining that later.
The ORK watermark is because I am using the free version - hoping to get a full copy with Christmas money
Got a bunch of spreadsheets going with info and to do lists. Why am I doing this? lol I can't seem to stop

Haha. 1 of 3 main characters, and I haven't got to the battle animations yet
I'll be retopologising this for my game and it'll be used as a standard NPC outfit.
I got the original mesh from archive3d.net but it was a total mess, I redid it completely. Then I gave it a new texture and rigged it. Just got to do a few standard animations and it'll be ready to go.
Anyway I made this the other day - I'm trying to start up a business. I'll be doing animation, games, and selling game assets. Have made an extensive list of 3d models and other items to create and sell.
I've set up a merchant account on CGTrader and Turbosquid, and Unity (but they are yet to approve any of my assets
I've had one sale so far, but I'm gonna keep at it until I have a huge number of models for sale. The more I have up, the more likely I'll make sales. I'm setting up a business and I'm going to be creating these assets whenever I don't have a client job.
Also I have to say that the people on CGTrader are very friendly - I've had so many likes on all my stuff already, and encouraging comments. It doesn't seem competitive there, but more like a supportive community.
If these get rejected, I'll be pretty upset after all the work I put into them.
In the meantime I'm waiting for Unity to update everything... so many issues. I had to switch to the new post processing stack because the legacy Bloom script no longer worked. But I also seem to be getting Cinemachine errors and I only just installed it. I wonder what's up with that.
Gone crazy converting 3D scans of antique art to low poly game assets.
