Hey, my name is Brosif. I'm a 3D artist. I typically use Zbrush and Blender as my workhorses. I thought I'd start a sketchbook here just to post my work, get general feedback, and here just generally document my art as I improve.
Here's one of my latest practice sculpts; a sculpt of a sketch that a friend of mine did.
Modeled in Zbrush and Blender and rendered with Renderman 21

Really minor and subjective but I think it would help. Can't wait to see the final!
@theStoff Really helpful tips, I'll be sure use them as I'm finishing up the sculpting, thanks!
So far I retopo'd the whole bust, UV'd him and gave him a rough texture pass in my first time using Substance painter (which I am now addicted to)Shouldn't be too long now until he'll be finished
question regarding the hair. How do you retopo that,? i've tried before and my result wasnt as clean. I was thinking of just using z remesher and being done with it, but how'd you go about it? Cause thos bakes look cleeean.
@Optimus: the total is about 25k polygons, though the furs are literally just decimated from the zbrush sculpt, so they're 20k polys on their own.
Maybe onof thesedays a fancy tech artist will come up with a quick and artistic way to get game ready hair done, but until then! Nice work!
