Hello,
I'm having a bit of an issue when placing scales on a snake I've sculpted.
I am using the Standard brush with a custom made alpha + DragRect stroke.
Problem is that when I place scales close to each other they go on top of the last one... which is expected obviously. Is there a way to control / mask / tweak the brush settings or anything to stop my current stroke on sculpting on top of my previous one?
Thanks!
What I get:

What I would like (manually masked out first scale.. not perfect on the edges this way) :

Hmmm, that's not a bad idea, will give it a go!
Edit: Holy smokes, it works! Haha, thanks very much for that. Just using the SingleLayerBrush with DragRect as stroke + custom alpha did the trick. You saved me a buttload of time
Internet Friend: Gave this method a go with the Standard brush, but I had trouble getting rid of that "ridge" where the scales meet as seen on my second picture. Will try with the Layer brush though,. maybe I can get cleaner results.
Thanks guys!
