Hey Guys, first time posting!!! I was after some advice i'm really dumb founded and can't seem to find a solution. I have been modeling for a indie team I make the models and unwrap them etc but for some reason every time they get put into substance painter the stupid UV maps stack in one layer.....it's really frustrating....and I am 90% sure I unwrapped them correctly but i may be wrong
Does anyone have any solutions that I can try? would be much appreciated

This is what I mean, all the objects I have unwrapped have ended up all on one layer...
It looks like you have different objects, but if you were to select all of them in your 3D software, all the UV's will overlap each other. If you want different textures on different objects, you need to assign separete materials on each of them in your 3d software - when you import in Painter, you'll get different Texture Sets (under the respective tab), so you can work individually on the respective materials.
I have them as separate objects and unwrapped individually
I have images for each object is this wrong?
Also sorry for asking noob questions but hey we all have to start somewhere
Thanks so much!!!
