Hi guys! so, i'm 20years old and i really want to improve my drawing, painting and designing skills and push myself to a professional level but unfortunately i live in a third world country and i'm too broke to afford any kind of art education so i imitated some art schools' curriculums and kinda made my own program and "classes" using books and some lessons i've been gathering for almost two years. i devided a year into three terms (term1: fundamentals, term2: focus more on design projects, term3: portfolio work and preparation).
this term i mainly focused on fundamentals such as perspective, figure drawing and of course design and trying to fill up my visual library. for now its been so hard to keep up and had to plan and replan every week but i hope this thread will help me to improve and yeah any critique or advice/guidance is welcome !

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work, and for the reply. Its much appreciated
As per your work....
These sketches are on point, and you show great aptitude and promise already! The animal sketches are great, and demonstrate that you understand structure, form, and anatomy. Your hitting all the right points in your personal curriculum and it will set a solid foundation for you as an artist to create believable and compelling, art work (which your doing all ready). So keep going....
Just the fact that your going to "wing it" with whatever tools and resources you have available, regardless of you current circumstances garners allot of respect from me and other artists as well, I'm sure.
Back to your works here....
The human gesture drawings are great as well. One thing I think you can pay a little more attention to is line-weight to suggest both more volume, and confidence in your strokes. It will also help strengthen the contour and silhouette. It would also be nice to start to add some color to these. If at all possible maybe you can get your hands on some pastels, and or watercolor pencils, or water colors?
Are you on any other social media, and do you have access to any computers? Perhaps you can look into some kind of crowd funding, or set up a donation site to try and raise money for some tools/hardware? Since you seem to be focused on 2D something like the 13.3" Cintiq companion 2, a Surface pro, or iPad pro, and Phtoshop elements, Corel painter, or manga studio (as software) would go along way for you.
And again, your curriculum seems to be working out for you. Don't worry yourself with school, make getting your hands on one of the above mentioned pieces of hardware a priority. Preferably the Cintiq Companion, or Suface pro. Surface pro is cheaper. Lots of great, self taught, artist working in the industry... keep going....
and seriously, look into crowd funding and social media as a means to plead your case, and raise some money for hardware.
Best of luck and wishes to you, Lmouuuuuu!

Awesome exercises you do there! I'm currently reading the same book and it's encouraging to see how much you are practicing!
I'm way older than you and i still think there is a solid chance to get good in art to a satisfiyng level!
Your practicing in a very good way! Keep it up! Don't loose your motivation and just go on you are doing it right
