JOB:

Senior Environment Artist (Full-time)

QC Games is looking for a passionate and talented senior environment artist. The ideal candidate has an amazing eye for architecture, nature, vehicles, lighting and materials, understands what it takes to create AAA quality models and textures, and has experience with world building and terrain editors (Unreal Editor preferred).

Qualifications:

·         Strong 3D portfolio showcasing top quality game environment assets

·         World building samples, preferably in Unreal

·         5+ years of industry experience as an environment artist

·         2+ shipped title

·         Advanced user of 3DS Max or Maya, Photoshop and ZBrush

·         Demonstrative Substance Designer/Painter and PBR experience

·         Strong understanding of the technical side of environment/world building for games

·         Is able to work with minimal supervision, taking assets from concept all the way to integration in the engine

·         Accepts and gives constructive feedback

·         Willing to help review work done by external vendors

·         Is a team player, understands the value of a collaborative/ethical working environment

Pluses:

·         Realtime lighting experience

·         Concept skills

·         Art, Architecture, Graphic Design or related degree
