Hi! I'm big fan of Starcraft so inspiration was obvious. Character was design experiment based on idea "how could look protoss zealot made with Terran technology ?". High poly model without textures (I've added a few variation during postproduction). Zbrush, 3ds Max. Rendered in KeyShot
Amazing work! The lighting, color scheme and the level of detail is just so nice to look at. Cant help but imagine how cool this would look in one of them glorious blizzard cinematic gracefully tearing hydras to shreds
This is crazy sexy! Im curious, what are the Terran elements here? To me, he looks like a different.. ethnicity (?) of Protoss, but still protoss. What was your thoughts behind it? Very stunning work!
I've got few comments about where is terran parts in this model. I've tried to put human technology there (pipes, screws, hydraulics, plastic covers etc) but still maintain zealot look. Now I know that I should balance this model a little bit more to terran.
