I have a strange problem with retopology with the quaddraw tool.
Everything works fine, until I want to place a loop in "complex" topology structure.

I am new to maya, and I think this could be the way maya handles ngons. Maybe I created a pair of it by mistake. So i removed the double vertices and still the same problem. I tried other 3d packages and there it works fine.
What could be the problem here?
EDIT: The multi-cut tool produce the same error.

But maybe... Could it be the exporter welds the points? I will give your method a try.

the workaround works of course, but like told before - its very annoying.
