Good stuff so far! You chose a hard cycle to animate! When a real chameleon walks it is not very consistent so maybe have a longer loop with a second or even third cycle offsetting parts in various ways. You are not far off but have a look at this video and see how your animation compares in terms of its movement - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcKsrnr3Z64
Legs - Maybe have a slightly bigger offset between the legs lifting and landing and make them a little more erratic. Also, bring them a little higher (see below how high the leg is in comparison to yours)
Eyes - Why are the eyes rotating while he's moving? Watch the reference video and see how the eyes move. They seem to snap quickly, whereas in your animation they move fairly slowly.
Feet - See how the chameleon plants his foot, using his 'toes' to grip the floor and cushion the landing. In your animation the toes are opening to far and he lands on the flat part of his foot first.
Head - Maybe bring his head lower so it is below his body (like in the reference screenshot above)
Thank you for your critique I really appreciate it. The cycle has definitely been a challenge but it's been pretty fun, I really wanted to do something I wasn't used to. I updated it somewhat hopefully it's looking a bit better now. Thank you for your time! https://syncsketch.com/playground/c1edbcf8c2284e4297a0766b34551839#130281
