Hey, I am having really bad quality textured model. The thing is, its blurry even at 4k... What would be the best to do ?
I am using 3ds max 2015, and substance painter for texturing.
I know blurry textures may be caused by too many small unwraped objects etc.
I ve been thinking about using multiple UV in max, but have no idea how that works. Alredy using multiple materials and IDs. Any idea how to fix that ?

The biggest savings is from overlapping and mirroring UVs, so you UV just one side of your escalator, then re-use the same UV for every side.

You can also use tiled textures, and blend them together to hide seams & repetition.

You can also use decal trims.

As well as the great methods @Eric mentioned, the elements are clones of eachother so you could just unwrap one of them, bake, texture, and duplicate in your scene as you would for modular pieces. This will save the step of offset-baking as the UVs will automatically overlap when you clone the mesh.
You can take this further by just creating 3 or 4 steps instead of the entire staircase and using the same modular approach. This way you don't have such a large object to try to fit on your texture sheet.
