Zbrush work: Baked low-poly test (~4k tris) with quick dDo materials to test whether the sculpting technique works. I'm actually *very* happy with it and will now do the rest of the gun with the same technique. Comparing to the vanilla one from FO4 on the bottom:
Awesome dude! I love the the extra details you've added. I'm no gun aficionado but it feels way more like an actual firearm to me now. Excited to see where you take it with the texturing!
