Snapping to Rig instead of the Grid in Maya

Hey everyone, 

I'm having issues in Maya with the CV Curve...I'm trying to finish the foot controls for my rig but i'm stuck on the CV Curve snapping to the ball of my heel when i'm trying to snap it to the grid... I tried looking at my settings, but I cant for the life of me figure out why it is doing that.

Are you holding x to snap to the grid? If you aren't. holding v will snap to components like vertices and joints. Sometimes the camera angle affects grid snapping but typically that means it doesn't snap to anything.

Yeah, my mistake. I had gotten my keys mixed up there
