Making hair for games is always a pain in the ass, and time consuming. A script like this would save a lot of time for artists. So please tech artists help us! I'm willing to sell my soul to buy this script.
Working on it nothing groundbreaking but will certainly make things faster. It uses the same technique as my tool Quick Pipe in regards to creating the geometry, but i made it more flexible for hair workflows.
Might be released in a month or two, not 100% sure on it right now.I'm looking for some head samples with different hearstyles so if you're interested in the tool and think you can give me a head (in FBX.will only use it for prototyping) model that would be great !

I'm glad to hear that you are working on it! I love your Shapeshifter man If you need a tester or models to test, drop me a line via facebook.
There is/was a set called AM Tools that had a ribbon-style approach similar to this, though I can't find a link for it, and it doesn't work in 2016+. Looks pretty close to what's shown in the video and was pretty simple; curve-based, had base/tip controls for twist and taper. That's something the bonus tool ribbon doesn't do.
I'm looking for a good replacement for it, it was a handy workflow.
@Fansub No, it was a different set of scripts (that I finally dropped in favor of yours because both script folders were named amtools). All I can find right now is the documentation for it.
