How to choose a VR?

Hey Polycounters!

Which VR are you using for Unreal Engine game development? HTC, Oculus or something else?

I'm interested in this aswell as I intend to purchase for UE in the next few weeks.

From the hours of research I've done thus far I'll probably go with the vive but it would be great to get some feedback from those that are deving rather than just the usual gamer mob.

According to multiple reviews, VIVE is supposed to be better than anything else. Oculus users report massive headaches and PlayStation VR cannot be plugged in into PC anyway. So, I guess, VIVE it is.

Yes, Vive seems like the winner over Rift but, I'm also thinking of holding off until Microsoft release but that is months away and I don't think I can hold out that long!

I personally use the vive. It's easy to set up in UE, and by far is the most comfortable HMD in my opinion. Thats just my two cents though

Thanks for the feedback. That's the answer I needed. If it works with UE4 normally or no. I guess that's my final choice - vive.
