I'm trying to make tentacles for a sea monster similar to the squid's below. I started to make an IMM but wasn't having a lot of luck and was wondering if it was worth sinking the time into it to then later find a better solution.
Taking the time setting up a curve brush will pay dividends later on. Or better yet (what I'd do myself) is create an insert brush of a fully sculpted single sucker and lay out the suckers organically on a single tentacle(in the ref they are not parallel as you have them but, offset) and then create a tentacle insert brush from that. 4r8 will be perfect for this with the new vector brushes.
@musashidan I saw the vector displacement brushes when I watched the summit preview a few days ago but hadn't thought about how they would help in situations like this. Good idea!
@knacki I just downloaded the brush and I'll take a look at the settings, thanks:)
