We are a new indie studio located Los Angeles. We're looking to to hire a character artist to model, texture, and rig 2 characters - one human and one monkey. The models are relatively low detail, since they'll be quite small onscreen. Although we'll be working with 3D models, the overall game has a hand drawn 2D/cel look, and the goal is to blend the 3D characters convincingly. To that end, our plan is to render out any 3D animation to 2D sprites - ideally adding some drawover 2D/cel details, if there's time. But anything we can bake into the shading/rendering on the model will be a big help to streamlining the workload.
