Ok, so here's my dilemma. I have a detailed character model consisting of several individual pieces ( it's a robot). After roughing out the basic designs for the texture I'm realizing I should probably break down the textures even more from 2 to 3 separate maps to get the details and resolution I want.
It is possible to somehow bake out the painted textures I have from 2 separate maps and uvs tiles and transfer them to an updated model with 3 separate uv tiles?
I did the initial texture painting in Mudbox and modeling unwrapping in Maya

I feel like this could potentially work if I could just figure out how to change the output settings to give me 3 separate images
