Small section of model does not show up

This back section keeps not showing up in the uv area of painter, and when you try to paint on the area it goes transparent then reappears when you stop painting. 

I've tried to re unwrap the section, I've re-imported it and exported it several times. I then made a new section and unwrapped then attached and now the top small section of it is not showing up...

What am I doing wrong ?

Did you try changed the file-format of the mesh before importing it into our software ?

Okay it was because that little selected retained the old max material that was on it when I attached it to the whole mesh. It has been fixed by placing a new material on the mesh Thanks for responding tho
