[zbrush] IMM Hair brush inserts into mesh, not on top of it.

I'm trying to get the brush from here (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?170167-Insert-Multi-Mesh-Repository/page34 ) to work and it inserts inside the mesh (left strand) instead of on top (right strand). The one on the right is a different brush. I'm new to zbrush so I'm not sure how to tweak the settings to change it.
Could I get some help on a fix? Thanks.

Hey there. I wonder if I can download yet that IMM hair brush from somewhere. I tried to download it from the link of the zbrushcentral thread (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/61338560/IMM_hair.zip) but the dropbox link seems to be broken. I would be thankful for any help finding that file.
