MOBA Styled Arena - Personal Project

Hey everyone!

My prefered style of games are generally MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) and my prefered style of art is that in the likes of Battlerite and League of Legends.

So as to improve myself I have to decided to make various low poly, hand painted models and put them together in an arena of my own making. Here I will be posting my week to week improvements.

Any and all feedback is more than welcome!

First off, the 'preproduction' phase. I made a couple of quick sketches while thinking of an interesting and balanced setup.

I then made a couple really rough blocks to have a general block out

Yesterday I finished my first complete model. Its still a bit rough around the edges, but I will improve with each prop and texture I make and will revisit this in a while.

Hey! Like the design although I do believe your UV's could be optimized more.

Such as the actual flag does not need 4 sides, 2 is fine.

The square yellow blocks, 1 of them is fine and then just rotated. It looks like you have also included the square plane of the bottom of the flag in the UV's.

Very true, I hurried it up a little bit too much, and should optimise more.
