Looks really good, but the normal seems pretty shallow, like the scales and features looks a bit painted on or flat for some reason, I think I can see a normal map there so I don't really know what might be causing this.
It was probably the environment, the ao and normal render looks fine. Those are some really awesome sculpts, you're really getting some cool shapes going on there, I especially like the first face study, looks like some kind in water dragon to me with it's blue color and the teeth that are a bit reminiscent of those of a hippo (In a good way)! How do you go about creating the scales? I can see that the face looks a bit more like they are sculpted and the neck looks more like they are individual IMM's or something, am I correct?
Yeah, I make a separate tool that is just a scale library then I make it a insert multi mesh brush and use the curve stroke to get a nice stroke of scales over the base mesh

This one I like very much how bulky he looks. Other than my design preferences, they both look good.
