Here's one that I started a while ago based on a concept by Paul Mellender. Still need to make some adjustments but would really appreciate any feedback anyone may have.
Thanks man! I was working from a concept that hopefully I can post soon, but I definitely agree that there are some things that I can improve upon, like his expression. Hopefully I will be able to address it and see how it looks. Thanks for the paintover!
this is great! it seems like his teeth could use a little more yellow in them, i doubt he brushes them much. the hair looks cool, is it just fibermesh brought into marmoset?
it looks like the concept is on his artstation page, did he end up painting more of the character?
@spitty - yeah I agree with you on the teeth that's one of the things that I want to hit. I went a bit to far with them early on and they ended up looking too black, so I have to figure out how to do the SSS for them to make them read better. As far as the hair, no it's actually cards but they are pretty dense currently. I can hopefully post a breakdown to show them soon. Paul actually didn't paint the rest of the body that I know of, but I would love to see him through to a full body project...but also have other projects that I want to hit as well. Too many unfinished, and I really wanted to focus on a bust or two and see where I can push them to.
pmiller001 Thanks man! I gotta do a bit more to polish certain things with it but hopefully I can do a bit of a breakdown over the weekend...fingers crossed.
