I understand that within the United States, California has the most opportunities. What other states or locations have a lot of opportunities for 3D artists?

Texas in the Dallas/Austin areas and Washington in the Seattle area.

Orlando, Florida, has a lot of military and medical simulation work that requires skilled 3D artists, with above-average pay and significant stability too.
