Hi everyone, new to this site so this is a first for me.   Currently working on this character for my capstone class and will be rigging and animating him.    At the moment he still needs more "paladin" things like a holy symbol which I have to work on.    I plan to make him a low-mid poly character with more stylized details overall.   Any feedback is appreciated.

I'd look into non-traditional sea creatures that still have defensive properties.  Try to avoid crustaceans and exoskeleton animals for now until you asbolutely need to use it.

Seashells are a bit of an overused, but clear, aesthetic, but maybe there's opportunity here for you to really make this unique.

Thanks for the input I really appreciate it.  Do you by chance have any examples for non-standard sea creatures?  When I tried looking up your suggestion for creatures I ended up with a lot of things like crustaceans, the sea cucumber, hagfish, etc.
