The quality of their product is always superb and I want to be working with the best in the industry. However, I'm sure Blizz is good at keeping their employees making open positions sparse and on top of that the competition is fierce. If I may ask, who here works for blizzard and any tips to make it in?

I think something to keep note of is looking at sites like artstation as well.  You can find plenty of Blizzard people on there and sometimes they have a good amount of breakdown shots of what they have produced in game.  Also looking to see what art they have from before they got hired might be a good litmus test of the level you need to achieve to be considered.

In all seriousness , just work hard keep practicing set milestones and constantly learn

Really master their style.  You can use their quality level to measure your own work.  If you don't think your piece would ship from them, keep hammering away at it until it reaches that level.  (The trick is being honest with yourself.)

Also, don't pigeonhole yourself into this goal.  A lot of people idolize Blizzard and I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but sometimes doors open where you don't expect and you can easily miss them because you're hyper focused on one specific company.

This is something I have more or less confirmed between talking with some people that work there and listening to interviews on youtube.  While Blizzard has concept artists, many of the modelers work from their own concepts as well.  You need to show you can create functional designs in line with what you're hired on to make.
