Hi, thought i'd make a thread where I put up some of the things I make that aren't so much projects as they are random stuff that I try new techniques on or I'm just doing something small and spontaneous, so stuff that aren't really worthy of a whole new thread basically.

Top reflection makes the top seem like it's coated in metal, not sure if intentional.
Thanks man, I just popped a premade material on there and pulled the sliders a bit, but yeah it looks a bit metal like, Lowering the refraction index seems to lower the metallic look of the surface.
Maybe should've made a thread for her after all but Kept working on the hair a little bit and played around with piercings, kind of fit her I think but I've not decided yet. Does anyone have any feedback on the anatomy, I can't find any direct flaws with it myself but that may be due to a lack of experience.
What it basically does is that it pushes the shapes to be more pronounced without having to go in and manually sculpt it all in. It's a bit messy and "Blunt" to use but I find it effective when you're in this kind of rough stage where I'm at.
You make a new layer for the subtool you want to push the detail on, smooth the mesh using the regular smooth brush, and then you reverse the layer you just made. The result is something like this:
As you can see I'll have to go in and smooth out some of the more lumpy places now but some of you might find this useful.
I Decided to wrap this up: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/38DoY
