Hey guys!
This is my first post to a forum. I'd just like to share a variety of 3D models I've been working on for school and get some critique and feedback on how I can improve!
First up is a 3D model built in Maya inspired by a model sheet provide by CG Spectrum.
This was my first shot at building a 3D Character. I haven't currently added any colour or texture for a finished model. So any advice would be great!

This is a dinosaur sculpted and painted in Mudbox.
It's a work in progress so I haven't got to sculpting the hands and feet to a finished standard yet.
First off your first model with the girl is really nice and smooth. I think there's room to make it even more detailed but what you have so far is really nice.
Your T-rex model is also detailed and well made. The textures are really eye catching and I love how you've presented the T-rex with the cracks on the ground. It's a small thing but it does a lot. In saying that though the T-rex is a little blunt. Not sure if that makes sense but the tails and claws feel like they need to be a bit sharper.
The furniture is quite lovely and well textured. They seem like very clean models. They match really well with each other and the little fabric pieces on them breaks up the wood texture nicely as well.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks your for your feedback!
I definitely agree with your critiques. My next step for the character might be to take it into Mud box to add details for sculpting, and then textures and colouring.
Yes, my T-rex is still a work in progress. Definitely needs more work in the tail, hands and feet.
Thank you, I wonder if they are too clean. Maybe some roughness will make the wood more realistic.
