Hey, i'm in the middle of writing my CV and a question popped up. In education/work experience should i add anything not relevant to game art (i'm an environment artist), because i'm an educated baker while self taught artist.
If you're pursuing entry-level, then any college/university level education would be good to mention, because a liberal-arts education matters in general.
Also any work experience would help, even if unrelated. Because being able to hold down a job demonstrates (at the least) basic employment skills.
If you ever coached or mentored someone, no matter the industry, or even in college, that's important and a reason to keep unrelated stuff on the resume. We like artists who are helpful, like to share and have the ability to pull the rest of the team up.
