Hi there everyone :)

This is the WIP of REM from Re: Zero that i had been making

Looking for a figure online i could find anything except for "Nendoroid" Styled one. but... that's gonna be released next year APRIL!? Oh da yum.

So, as a self-training path i decided to model her.
Still lot to learn, and i'm PRETTY sure that some of the things that i made could been even easier has i did them and still look even better than now.

(This is not the last last picture i took, recently did some changes n the leg size so their could be a lil more thin, and the hair shape.)

Currently posing her so i can start paint it (but first fixing the posing errors).

I REALLY want to paint her. Would you mind to give me some ideas or tips (Or at least a video tutorial) that you recommend ? (Also if you tell me "Ey why don't you try modeling this part by this way" i would be very granted :3)

I tried paiting before at Zbrush but my workflow didn't work out.
This one of my best stuff until now.

THanks for reading!

Nice work. I love the pose and the facial expression,Looks cute. Looking forward to see the final result.

    Here is some suggestions.
For the shape, the face is still a little "realistic". For example, the mouth is too bulge, the corner of the jaw is too sharp, and most important, you shouldn't make nostrils to her nose.
In fact these anime-style characters has their own anatomy which is different from realistic human beings. If you will make a lot of these kind of models, I highly recommend you to buy at least one of those anime character figures or dolls for the anatomy studying.

For the color painting, I see you paint some reddish color in her skin, that's great. But it is still a little monotone. Of course, how to make colors looks variable without breaking the harmony is a very big topic that may take a whole life to learn, But I think you could look into some 2D illustrators' tutorials that could be find in internet, maybe you could learn some useful skills from there.

    Cheers.
