Dear polycounters,
I`ve just released my latest tutorial and my biggest personal project so far - The Ultimate Hardsurface Tutorial for the Turretgun. I`ve been working on this for a LONG time - more then 9 months of my spare time and am so stoked that it is finally ready to be released!
This tutorial covers the entire creation process of this high quality, PBR game asset from the block out to the final mesh in over 40 hours of video. All of the important steps and most of the video is commented on, nothing is left out. In addition to modeling in 3dsmax you will learn how to use Modo`s meshfusion in combination with Zbrush to quickly create hardsurface shapes as well how to use keyshot to create state of the art renderings of the final highpoly mesh.
You can get it on
gumroad or
cubebrush. Use coupon code

I definitely learn more my hotkeys, I`ve got many, but not fairly all like you with all that plugin hotkeys xD Is there any system in your hotkeys, so you can easily remember them?
Honestly, I`m just more comfortable with the Suite and haven`t had a chance to play around with substance much yet.
@dlinzp
Thanks man, appreciate it!
@defragger
Thank you for the feedback. Maybe in the next one
@MaxHoek
Glad you are liking it so far and thanks for the support. There is no underlaying system other then that I`ve gotten used to them over time. I`m trying to assign stuff that I use a lot to simple key combinations in a location where I do not have to move my hand much to prevent straining it too much.
@Elpen
You`re welcome, I hope you like it!
Thank you very much - Let me know if you have any questions when you get it...

Nevermind, bought it with credit card.
The offer will last till the end of today. If you miss it, email me and we can work something out.
You will still be able to apply the basic principles, but a lot of the scripts that I am using are max specific. In addition, instead of using Meshfusion in Modo you would have to use Zbrush for all the boolean operations. This will work but you will have less control over the look of your bevels.
The lowpoly, texturing and marmoset part can be easily done using maya instead of max.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions!
