Hi there!
For the latest Ludum Dare game jam three of us have made a game prototype that we thought might worth taking further. We are thinking about making it into a mobile game or maybe release it for VR. The problem is that it's hard to make objective opinion about your own work so we would be glad to hear the Polycount community's opinion about it, both artistic and gameplay wise. Could it become something enjoyable and competitive on the market? What should we improve to reach that?
Gameplay:
You need to protect the throne room from the thieves, help the Pharao's pet alien to eat the intruders one by one. You can guide both the alien and the thieves by controlling the interactable parts of the pyramid. Be aware, the alien can only eat one enemy at a time, if there are more of them in the same room, they will damage him. He has 3 lives, if all lost, the game ends. Same if one of the thieves reaches the top. If you kill all of them, the next round starts and the thieves' number will be increased by 2.
Description for the interactable rooms:

Camera movement speed - Q & E
Zoom - Mousewheel

Originally we made it for Oculus Rift CV1, just download the appropriate version and move around with the sensor. Interact with the A button on the controller or Space.

WindowsOculus RiftAs we had only 3 days to make both the game logic and all the art from scratch there are quite a few bugs. Also, not having a dedicated programmer wasn't helping either.
But of course if people see some potential in the base idea, we will take the time to fix all the bugs and polish it.
Thanks,
Fisher
