Texel Density help.

Input data:
I have a generator model (87,5*64,5*71 cm). Restrictions of texture: 1024*512, 16px per 2,54 cm. I have biggest part on my unwrap 178,4*69,43 cm. My calculations are: 178,4/2,54 = 70,23. 70,23*16= 1123,78. So it is impossible to put all my unwrap in texture 1024*512. Am I wrong in something? Please help me with that. This is my first experince with texel density. Feel free to ask questions.

    at first glance it looks like your math is correct - so your biggest uv island is like 1123x440px big? And yeah it might be totally possible that you have too much surface for your limitations. On the other hand, you can always adapt the model so that you can reuse more texture space - ie do more mirroring / stacking uv shells etc...

    hello! thanks for your answer. But unfortunately all model have to be unique, so mirroring not allowed. :( Maybe they made a mistake in technical limitations?
