Senior Game Production Team Member
Visual Purple is looking for a Senior Game Production Team Member. This is a fast track staff position with intent of growing the successful candidate into a leadership position.
The ideal candidate will have a background in one or more of the following positions: 3D art, game design, level design, programming, animation, and QA.
The successful candidate will have experience working on a wide range of subject matter and have a solid understanding of the game production pipeline. In addition, the Senior Game Production Team Member will work as a mentor and resource to junior team members. They will utilize their area of expertise to drive the production and improve the quality of the projects. Long-term, they will demonstrate the ability to grow their skillset beyond their initial area of expertise.
Position Responsibilities:
· Work with directors and leads to create compelling and effecting gameplay driven training.
· Ability to stay organized and productive while working on multiple simultaneous projects.
· Work with industry standard tools appropriate to their area of expertise.
· Ability to take broad direction and develop it into individual tasks.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills:
· Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in their area of expertise.
· UE4 experience
· Direct work experience on game development with at least 3 delivered games.
· Development experience with cross-platform distribution.
· Team player capable of working as part of both small and large teams on complex and deadline driven projects.
· Ability to drive continuous testing and improvements while maintaining high quality control standards.
Position Type:
Full-time – on site
Must be able to relocate and work in San Luis Obispo. Due to the secure and confidential nature of these projects, outsourcing, subcontracting and off-site work opportunities are not available.
