We are hiring a Manager of Developer Relations to spearhead our collaboration and partnerships with game developers and key players in the emerging virtual reality industry. As a Virtuix evangelist, you are passionate about VR, gaming, and the exciting possibilities the Omni brings to the VR landscape. You are knowledgeable about game development and comfortable giving public presentations and fostering relationships. Working with developers and partners, you will give demonstrations of the Omni SDK and attend industry events.
You will become part of a great team at a company that is pioneering the new wave of virtual reality innovation. Your Responsibilities:
• Providing technical presentations and technology demos of the Virtuix Omni, the Omni SDK, and Virtuix games at virtual reality conferences, meetups, and at game developer sites.
• Producing content including but not limited to example projects of the Omni SDK, tutorials, and blog posts. Assisting developers working with the Omni via email, phone, forums, and onsite visits.
• Help develop a content monetization strategy for developers and monthly content packages for our commercial customers.
• Presenting and explaining to game developers Virtuix’s content monetization opportunities and commercial licensing program.
• Inspiring and helping developers conceptualize, design, build, and monetize Virtuix Omni projects and applications.
• Organizing and attending Virtuix Omni meet-ups, hackathons, and developer events.
• Building long term relationships and partnerships with technical decision makers at key players within the VR Industry.
• Providing product development recommendations and technical data to Virtuix’s product development teams as a strong internal advocate for our developers and customers.
Desired skills and experience:
• Game development experience and knowledge of Unity3D and Unreal game engines
• Knowledge of C++ and C# programming languages
• Passion for video games and virtual reality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to travel extensively (domestic and international)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
