Hi everyone! I already registered here a few months back but I was just lurking around looking at posts. So here is my first post here at polycount. This is a character that I finished a week ago and it is a recreation of a character from a game me and my friends made during the Global Game Jam last January.
The character was made with: ZBrush(Sculpting), Maya(Retopology, Unwrapping and slight Modeling), Substance Painter(For Baking and Texturing)
Then in it was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2
Here is the final rendered look of the character:
For now, I'm kinda happy with how it looks but I'll probably do another remake of this character when I feel that I am much more skilled I can improve the look of the character. So any comments, suggestions, pieces of advice, critiques that I can do to improve this piece in the future will be greatly appreciated.

He's looking a little glossy for my tastes.
The jewels look especially cool. How'd you do that?
I can't wait to see more of your stuff!
Thanks man! the jewels actually have a pretty low roughness and added some metalness to make it shine. and to make the glowing effect I made an emissive map and put some of it around the edges of the jewel.
