Scifi Gun

When concepting this rifle, I lent heavily on the design and function of short muskets used by pirates, brutal and effective at close range. The were a hybrid between rifles and pistols. In much the same way this gun is a hybrid between the modern handgun and assault rifle. The QAR-M stands for the Queen Anne's Revenge, a famous pirate ship. The QAR-M is a futuristic high powered short range rifle that takes the place of a shotgun. It carries 6 large rounds much lighter and more accurate than shotgun shells, that spread significantly on impact. Its painted the signature red of Arami Firearms, based out of the Hellas district on Mars.

cool back story!
Just a few observations....
Just by looking at it i do not understand how it works....for instance i do not see an ejection port , bolt or Charging handle.
The pistol grip feels rather small.
The bore size feels small especially if you saying this weapon shots large rounds.

@Cglewis thanks for the input! Yea I spent an hour and a half or so on the concept cause I was rushing to pump a model out for a portfolio piece. Those are all legit critiques.

The pistol grip and buttstock look very unergonomic. It also lacks a rear sight. Is it meant for a top down game where you wont be able to see a lot of detail, or more for a FPS?
