Hello everyone!
I've been working on a project that is based off of a concept from Diablo III. I kind of used this project to learn more about different processes/workflows and I do have to say, I've learned quite a lot! As you notice, this is not a recreation of the concept and just more of a reimagining. Most, if not all, of the models you see were purely hand painted and don't have normals. Others have been thrown into ZBrush (such as the barrels you see) and baked out AOs, Normals, Heights, etc. This is built in UE4.
I'm still not finished yet. I want to create a realistic material for the stained glass windows in the lanterns and the side of the building (they are hooked up with an emissive which I'm really considering to take off because it looks flat and cheesy.) I'm also debating what to put around this entire environment just to showcase what I've got going on here, without overkill
Any suggestions at all on how I can push this further and make it even better, would be wonderful! If anyone also has any suggestions on how to get a decent looking stained glass (I've been following the tutorial on Epic Wiki) would be awesome too :glasses:
