Hi all,
Another normal map post.. I know.. but I am completely stuck.
I baked my normal maps in 3d max and xnormal step by step following a tutorial (actually tried a few of them) so I know the baking process is correct.
Retopology and UVing are correct too, but I'm missing something because when I apply the normal map in 3Ds max everything goes to hell.

As you can see, something is wrong. Left side is using normal map baked in xnormal and right side baked in 3ds max. I am using cages in both.
Any ideas? I already tried clearing smooth groups as well but nothing seems to solve this.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE:Seems that the smooth groups were not applied correctly. I've cleared and applied them a second time and now I get this after baking with 3ds max:

However, you can see, especially on the shirt, that is quite low-res. I also get weird shadowing. Any ideas?
(Still don't know why I was getting such an off-result with xNormal.
