W.I.P: Street Fighter Ryu Head

Trying to get into sculpting as I try and get this head to look like Ryu's from Street Fighter:

Right now I'm stuck at the shape of the face. Something's wrong but I don't know what it is.
Could be because I use some varying source material ofcourse. The face looks ok in perspective, but it sort of falls flat on the front and side.
I'd love to get some direction as well as some critique before I go any further with this.

Changed some shapes, as well as went a level deeper. I'm way more optimistic about this result.
Might do 1 more pass and then retopologize.
