Started a new project!
Great. I know (Laughs). To begin with I wanted to make a spaceship. Had ideas generated here and there.
Decided to make a little plan to follow through on. 9 Working days to do my project. Made a little plan set my times to see if I can follow through and where I need improvement in the pipeline including time management wise.
Took 2-3 days for concepting period. (I was already assuming I took less than I should).
Had a thought process going there while making it. Ended up with something like this.
I personally did not like the outcome of it. Felt plain. The Thruster/Engine were not logical to begin with. So I thought at looking back at all the sketched ones I have already done and smash them together.
So I ended up with XT-500Z.
With that my concepting is finished (After I do the model sheet). Next step is moving on to the base mesh. Will be posting further down the line on the progress. If you have any feedback would love to hear it.

Will be using the following tools
3DS Max
Substance Painter/Designer
UE4
Photoshop
Zbrush

Been awhile since posted,  I think I learned a lot more about brushes and baking maps while doing this project. Put myself in constraint for time and ofcourse still rushed it and finished earlier than should. (A lot more things that I want to create and try). Mistakes have been done but a lot has been learnt along the way. Itiretaed the design of the ship as well from the original. Left the form of the ship the same though.
    2 x 1024 Materials

    Workflow:
    Low Poly - 3DS Max
    High Poly - Zbrush
    Texture - Substance Painter/Designer/Photoshop

    UE4 Render shots in engine
The top render is with updated maps with less refelctivity going on then the one down below.

The whole 3D model over here aswell. Any feedback welcomed with love.
